No bells, no whistles, just facts
Smooth check-in process and clean rooms with beautiful sea views characterize this gem. The staff's friendliness stands out, and culinary offerings cater well to various diets. Ample lounging space by the pools makes relaxation easy, but note there's no shuttle to town, so plan your excursions accordingly.

Would recommend for a short stint
Comfortable room, friendly staff, with the highlight being the good breakfast options and a refreshing saltwater pool to relax by after exploring the area.
Could not be improved in any way without adding further information.

Nice staff.
The furnishing of the rooms are not particularly high quality. We had a problem with the refrigerator and air conditioner at the first day, so we got another room.

The room was spacious with a lovely terrace and had a fantastic partial sea view. It was clean and well-decorated. The staff were super friendly and helped with any requests we had. Some lights didn't work, and the shower temperature was a bit unstable at times. Still, it was comfortable.

Very relaxing place to be, with super friendly staff. Great for snorkeling and diving.
Breakfast and dinner buffets disppointing. Needed some running repairs: the handrail into the swimming pool was loose, which could be dangerous for small children and adults not so good on their feet. I got locked into one of the toilets, as the handle fell off when I shut the door, locking me in. It took while for help to come, as this toilet was located in a "cave" by the swimming pool.

The hotel's beachfront location was fantastic, with great access to snorkeling, and the pools were perfect for kids. The service could be inconsistent, and the food wasn't always fresh. Being a bit far from the center was inconvenient, but the shuttle service helped somewhat.

Great hotel. Lovely setting. Buffet food was pretty good, though overpriced.
Pool water was cold, so consequently, the hot tub (which was only just warm) was full of very loud Egyptian and Israeli kids. To the Meridien hotel manager, you need to heat your pools properly. You cannot call yourself a five star report if you don't heat the pools suffiiceintly. I would recommend the hotel, but would suggest travellers choose the Swiss Inn or Hilton instead, which are closer to town.
